The Others...High Point.

High Point is a staple in motocross history. Round 5 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship took to the Pennsylvania track and provided us with some great racing and proved that either championship is gas from over.

When Marvin Musquin is on, watch out! He'd go 1-1 on the day as a couple bad starts would leave Jeremy Martin fighting for a podium spot. His 4-4 motos would secure him 3rd overall behind Husqvarna rider Zack Osborne.

One of the coolest things this week was watching Jeremy Martin battle with his brother Alex. Alex put his Cycle Trader, Rock River , Yamaha one spot in front and behind his brother in the motos. His 3-5 scores were good enough for 4th overall.

As I said last week. This 450 class is just getting warmed up. Ryan Dungey came out on fire in Moto 1. Something we normally don't see in Dungey is him charging through the pack, but he'd go from just inside the top 10 to a moto 1 win. If Ken Roczen wanted the overall he'd have to better his 1st moto result, and that he did. Roczen looks good! He's not gaining ground now, but he will start putting things together. Husqvarna looked good in this class as well. Jason Anderson took 3rd overall, but it was his teammate Christophe Pourcel who'd score a 3rd in moto 1 and 4th overall.

This week my privateer shoutout goes to Gared Steinke. "Steinke Dog" brought a sweet sound to the 250 class this week as he'd qualify on a YZ125 two stroke. He'd pin that bike around for 27-27 moto scores. Very cool and very impressive. Gared is looking to do a few more rounds on the Thermotec Yamaha so listen for that crisp sound and the sent of premix.
