The Others...Lakewood.

Chaos in Colorado! As round 3 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship stopped at Thunder Valley things got interesting.

It'd be a day that both class point leaders would rather forget. Marvin Musquin would go down in moto one of the 250 class while chasing Jeremy Martin. Martin would go 1-1 on the day. In the 450 class Eli Tomac continued his hot streak and made it 5 moto wins in a row going in to the events 2nd moto. That's when the doors flew off the hinges and this championship got a whole lot more interesting. Tomac would go down while leading, handing control of the moto to Ken Roczen who'd crash himself. Ryan Dungey closed in and while side by side Roczen would go down again. Dungey cruised to the win and the overall. Roczen's issue seems to have been a flat front tire, while for Tomac it looks a bit more serious. Reports are saying a dislocated right shoulder.

Many of the riders where complaining about the track. Calling it the worst round of the series and even saying that the track was dangerous. Where the track conditions due to the weeks weather or just lack of perpetration? Either way Colorado adds an interesting round with elevation and horsepower loss.

Ryan Dungey now has control of the 450 Championship and Jeremy Martin has regained the points lead in the 250 class.

This week my standout was the number 84 of Jesse Wentland. He'd go 16-16 for 17th overall. Pretty solid ride for the 450 class privateer.

And now, The Others.
