The Others...Detroit.

A Detroit spring night was dominated by bikes a shade darker than previous weeks.

As supercross rolled in to Ford Field to take over the Motor City, KTM's hot streak would be halted by Honda riders Eli Tomac would battle early with Ryan Dungey, but after making a pass Tomac would go on to gap the 450 field with Dungey holding strong in 2nd and the Honda of Cole Seeley taking the final step of the podium. The 250 class was more of a wire to wire victory for Justin Bogle. Marvin Musquin would work his way from a bad start to a 2nd as Pro Circuit's Joey Savatgy rode to an impressive 3rd.

Detroit had it's share of crashes and I'd like to send out some get well wishes to Matt Lemoine, Jake Weimer a and Trey Canard. Matt's crash was a nasty one in practice that would force him to miss the night show. Trey and Jake came together in the 450 semi qualifier and both were down for a while, causing a red flag. We are hearing that both have arm injuries. Best wishes guys.

Lastly I'd like to give a HUGE shoutout to Alex Ray. Alex has been working hard and and it paid off with his first 450 main. He is a great guy and recently did an interview with me saying "mains are coming." You were right Alex, congrats!
